Now, let’s configure some important settings. These options will determine how your packages will work and appear to customers in your WooCommerce store.

Go to YITH » Product Bundles and click on the “General Settings” tab. The first important setting you will see deals with out-of-stock situations for your bundled products.

You have three options for handling out-of-stock items: hide the entire bundle, mark the bundle as out of stock, or show the bundle without allowing purchases.

We recommend the latter option, which is the default setting. This way, customers will still be able to see what’s included in their package, even if some items are not available. This can help them plan for future purchases.

Enabling this option allows customers to click on an image of one of the products in the bundle in a full-screen lightbox gallery .

WooCommerce cart and checkout display settings are next.

By default, both the bundle and its individual products appear on these pages. However, you can simplify the display by enabling the “Hide bundled items in cart and checkout” option to show the bundle as a single product.

You can also choose to display prices for individual products within the bundle on the cart and checkout pages . This setting is especially useful if you previously chose Per-Item Pricing (where each product has its own discount), as it allows customers to see the bundle's pricing breakdown.

For Fixed Bundle Pricing, you may want to keep this option disabled to maintain a cleaner checkout experience.

Now you'll need to decide how prices will appear on the Order Details page and the Reports page in the admin area.

You can select “Price of bundle,” which will show the e-commerce price of the bundle as a whole. Or you can choose “Price of bundled items” to display the prices of each item in the bundle.

By default, product bundles appear as a single item on your WooCommerce reports page . If you enable the 'Show bundled items in WooCommerce Reports' option, you'll see the bundle and its individual products.

At the bottom, you'll find a button to sync prices for products in the bundle. Don't worry too much about this option, as it's mainly for fixing price sorting issues in older versions of the plugin.

You can leave this button alone and click “Save Options” to store your changes.
