Once you have added your ad units to WordPress, denmark business directory you can add ad refresh functionality to them.

The first thing you need to do is install and activate the Ad Refresh Control plugin. For more details, see our step-by-step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin .

Once the plugin is activated, navigate to Settings » Ad Refresh Control . This screen allows you to set your ad refresh preferences. These settings are global and apply to all ad units on your site.

Ad Refresh Control's plugin settings
The most important plugin settings are “Visibility Threshold”, “Refresh Interval” and “Maximum Refreshes”.

The “Visibility Threshold” setting specifies how much of the ad must be visible to count as an impression.

The “refresh interval” specifies how long an ad is displayed before it is updated.

Finally, the “Maximum updates” option determines how often an ad slot can be updated.

You are welcome to change these numbers, but we will keep the default settings as they comply with most existing ad network policies.

The final plugin settings can be left blank, but if you want to exclude certain ad units or ad sizes, you can add the ad unit sizes or ad unit IDs.

Saving your Ad Refresh Control settings

Your ad units will now automatically update for your visitors based on the settings above.
