American Horror Story

Post by Abdur14 »

Although the marketing campaigns for this horror series could be compiled into a long list, today we will make a special mention of the one used for the premiere of its sixth season in 2016.

They started by announcing the name and theme of the new season, as they always do. It was supposed to be called “Forest” and was going to be about children, but that ended up not happening. For this season, they decided to make a riddle to involve the fans. This game consisted of the release of six promotional teasers in which only one was the real one, and the rest were a distraction.

In the end, the correct teaser was the one that showed us the image of a mansion in the middle of the countryside. However, the name of the season, “ American Horror Story: Roanoke ” was not known until the premiere of its first episode. It refers to the 1590 Roanoke Colony of Queen Elizabeth I of England in North America, which disappeared without a trace or evidence of what happened to the colonists who lived there.

Barbie
There is really little to say about this film that we haven't already told you, but it couldn't be left out of our article.

The film's marketing budget is said to have been over $150 million, a figure that was surpassed during its opening weekend at the box office. We could see everything from a website to create posters just like the ones for the film itself to the creation of a life-size replica of Barbie's house where you can spend a few days.

Although it is also worth highlighting its advertising posters, merchandising, and the flood of memes on social media about the film and its direct competitor, Oppenheimer, since both were released on the same day.
