What knowledge does an “online” teacher need?

Post by ayeshshiddika11 »

The first thing is to learn to unlearn . Starting almost from scratch, realizing that even if you know a lot, you don't know anything and that being a good online teacher is not the same as being a great teacher in the classroom.

The environments are different, the students are in a different learning environment, the techniques are very different and all of this is learned through practice, through research, through sharing experiences, through knowing what works best and what doesn't. Testing, trial and error. And of course, by participating in conferences like EXPOELEARNING where every year we show practical cases, trends and innovations. A teacher who is not up to date and does not participate in conferences and events in his or her specialty will not be able to update his or her knowledge.

Let us think and look at what doctors who participate in congresses of their specialty every year do. Teachers should do the same.

What types of skills or areas of knowledge are most in demand by online training users?
They are all a thing of the past, but they benin phone data are still in high demand: language courses, especially English, office automation, occupational hazards, etc., and there is an increase in management skills, leadership, skills improvement, etc. Companies increasingly want to be more up to date and competitive in this VUCA environment in which we all live. In times of great change, the best way to deal with them is training . That is why a company that does not invest in training is a dead company; without training it will not get anywhere.

It really hurts me when I see that a company doesn't invest in the training of its workers or doesn't even know that they have an annual amount to invest in training. There needs to be more publicity and advertising. The government should force companies to invest in training and not worry so much about whether or not workers clock in at work.
