Social Media Session, a change of era – UGR Seniors Classroom

Learning has no age. People need to be in continuous training to achieve active aging that provides us with eternal wisdom, wisdom until the end of our days.
This afternoon I will have the pleasure of giving a session at the Permanent Open Training Classroom for Seniors at the University of Granada . An initiative that was launched “in the last century” , more specifically in the 1994/95 academic year. Its main objective is to meet the educational demand of people over 50 years of age , who are admitted to the University without any other prior requirement than having reached that age.
This University Programme, designed by and for our seniors, manages to contribute to improving the situation and the personal and social capabilities of its students, with a clear dual italy telegram mobile phone number list intention: training and social solidarity. To carry out this task, the University of Granada has the support of the
Department for Equality and Social Welfare of the Andalusian Government, through the General Directorate of Senior Citizens. In the Provincial Headquarters (Baza, Motril and Guadix) the respective Town Councils also collaborate, and in the Autonomous Cities of Ceuta and Melilla, the Departments of Culture of their autonomous administrations.
Since its inception, it has had a large number of participants, with up to 200 students enrolled. Currently, it has about 80 people enrolled , 70% of whom attend regularly.
