Whatsapp now allows you to delete messages sent by mistake. Do you know how?

Post by jrine »

Who hasn't sent a message on WhatsApp and immediately regretted it? Who hasn't sent a message and, shortly after, realized that it wasn't intended for the right person? Surely, this has happened to everyone in one way or another. Well, you can now delete messages and thus have greater "peace of mind" .

This new feature was a highly requested feature by users of the most widely used instant messaging application. Mainly by people who are absent-minded, or who use the app a lot.

But be careful, WhatsApp will only allow you to delete a message you have sent, either to a contact or a group, within 7 minutes of sending it. That is, if you have written at 12:00, you will have until 12:07 (inclusive) to delete the post.

Will the recipient know that you deleted the message?

The answer is YES, a message list of telegram users in israel will appear instead informing you that one or more comments have been deleted.

Who can use this new WhatsApp option?

For the deletion to be truly effective, both the sender and the recipient must have the latest update of the application. Otherwise, the initial message will continue to be displayed by the recipient who does not have the latest version.

How do I delete a sent message?

Simple, just long press on the message you want to delete and the menu that allows the deletion option will appear.

As you know, these have not been the only changes implemented in WhatsApp in recent months. In August, I told you about the possibility of scheduling messages in WhatsApp, making voice notes in WhatsApp without pressing the button, etc.
