TALENT DAYS: Hello! We are happy to have the opportunity to talk to an American startup from the health sector. First, tell us what you do on the Polish market? What made you participate in Talent Days in Katowice and what challenges do you face in the areas of recruitment and building an employer brand in Poland?
Sebastian: Thanks for the invite – we’d love to share our perspective! At Henry Meds, we’re focused on providing affordable and effective healthcare solutions. Our goal is to make effective therapies like semaglutide more accessible to people who need long-term healthcare.
When it comes to operations in Poland, it focuses mainly on the customer service area, which supports our patients and coordinates activities between different teams in the company. The decision to locate in Katowice resulted from its strategic location, excellent infrastructure and access to highly qualified employees. The city also offers favorable business conditions and a developing labor market, which supports our growth. In the area of recruitment, we face challenges related to attracting and retaining talent in a competitive startup environment. It is crucial for us to find people who not only have the right qualifications, but also fit our organizational culture.
Employer Branding and recruitment for Talent Days
TALENT DAYS: Employer Branding or recruitment, what is more important to you?
Michał: Our strategy for Talent Days includes both Employer Branding and recruitment. We want potential candidates to get to know our company, understand our mission and values, and at the same time, we want to meet directly with people interested in joining our team. Building a strong employer brand helps attract the best talent, and direct recruitment at the fairs allows us to fill positions quickly and efficiently.
