1.- Eliminate negative feelings
Normally in life there are a series of objective realities, but in most cases their interpretation depends on your point of view. That is to say, something that for you may be negative, for another person it may not be so or it may not be as important as it seems to you at that moment. Being trapped by negative feelings often wears us down and does not allow us to accept the facts and look for solutions or paths that lead us to a different situation. Therefore, the first step to get motivated is to banish negative feelings.

To do this, the first thing I recommend is related to your lifestyle: do you sleep well? Do you eat healthy foods? Do you do any kind of sport or physical exercise? Do you laugh often? Although it may not seem like it, everything is related: If you are physically well, you have more options to think positively and banish negative feelings.

2.- Get away from your daily life
Sometimes a change of scenery, a vacation, or simply spending time watching a movie or meditating, makes us put aside everyday situations to give ourselves a break. When we return to these situations if we have taken a break from them, we will generally see them in a different light and that allows us to find a solution.

3.- Start by setting yourself small, easy-to-achieve challenges
There are many people who set themselves tough, difficult goals or goals that yield long-term results, but end up giving up after a few days. For example, it is common in September or January to find gyms or training centres packed to the rafters with people who have decided to make a radical change in their lives, but who nevertheless give up within a short time. To achieve success we must go little by little, we must not rush.

It is necessary to start setting small challenges that we can accomplish in a short time. The satisfaction of achieving this will allow us to progressively think about bigger challenges.



4.- Get organized. Put the means to achieve what you want to do

7.- Invite people close to you to tell you what good things you have and your virtues
Sometimes the opinion we have of ourselves is not the best of all, we can be very strict and put the focus on those things we do not have, disregarding or not valuing what we are and have. Inviting other people to tell you what is the best thing about us or what they would like to have that you have, can help you discover facets or strengths that you did not consider , lean on them and above all start to think positively, valuing what we have or what we are and have achieved.

8.- Observe or read about people who achieved what they set out to do.
Sometimes knowing the lives of famous people, the challenges they faced and what they achieved can be an incentive to achieve what we are pursuing. It can also help us to learn about their strategies or work methods to achieve what they had set out to do and try to adapt these to our daily efforts.

9.- Think about the moment when you achieve what you set out to do
Imagine that you have achieved the goal you set for yourself. How would you feel at that moment? Who or what would you think of? What would you do with that achievement?

On many occasions, seeing ourselves achieving something we want makes a dream or an accomplished goal real, at least for us. Making an idea or challenge real and palpable makes us see it as something we can achieve, and therefore helps us think that we are going to achieve it.

10.- Don't give up
Most people who have achieved important goals in their lives have one thing in common: even though it has cost them more or less to achieve their goal, they have not abandoned their drive or personal effort to reach what they finally achieved.
