What steps are we going to follow to create our blog?

At this point, you should have decided what type of platform you want to use.
If your blog is going to be personal and you want to keep it simple, it makes sense to use a free platform.
But if your blog is more professional, you want to generate more impact and you have plans for growth and/or monetization with it, then I recommend that you work with Wordpress.org.
Since it is a little more complicated to implement, I am going to tell you what steps need to be taken to implement it.
Step 1.- Purchase a domain and hosting and configure your WordPress blog
In this first step we have several things to do:
Register a domain.
Hire a hosting or web hosting.
Install and configure Wordpress.

Step 2.- Indexing in Google
A very important step that you should not skip is indexing your blog so that it is crawlable on Google .
This is the key step to “inform” Google that you exist and to basically take you into account to show you as a result in the SERPs every time a user performs a related search.
That is, you have to be visible to search engines.
Many pages are indexed automatically, but if there's a chance your blog isn't, it's best to make sure by doing it manually.
For a WordPress blog, the easiest way is to use Google Search Console and Yoast SEO (a plugin that is widely used and useful for managing SEO).

It can become your best ally to monitor everything that happens on your blog: how much traffic you receive, the behavior of users on the page, where they come from, the bounce rate, the recurrence rate, etc.
