In an interview published last Wednesday (17), Telegram CEO Pavel Durov stated that the platform should reach the 1 billion user mark next year. Telegram currently has 900 million users.
Durov highlighted Telegram’s exponential growth, comparing it to a forest fire. With japan mobile number around two and a half million new users signing up every day, he emphasized the platform’s values, such as independence, respect for privacy and freedom, which attract users amid competition.
“I think we are doing a great job with Telegram, with 900 million users and a projection to surpass 1 billion monthly active users within a year,” Durov said.
Additionally, Telegram also announced a “powerful new editor” this week. The new feature allows anyone to quickly create stickers and complete packs without leaving the platform.
To do this, simply take a photo and add text, drawings, animated stickers, emojis and GIFs available on the platform.
This feature lets you crop objects and remove the background from an image with just one tap. It also gives you the option to manually erase or restore parts of the photo. It also adds a border to give stickers a classic look.
How to create stickers
To start creating your stickers, open the sticker panel in the typing field of any chat and tap the (+) button.
Edit as you wish. Once you’re done editing, you can send the sticker individually or create a sticker pack so friends can reuse your creations in their own conversations.
One of Telegram’s features is the ability to customize sticker packs. These stickers, which are a popular form of visual communication, can be added to custom packs.
