SEO is a long-term SEO strategy. It is not a one-day task that you forget about. If you stop focusing on it, over time, your competitors will overtake you in the rankings. Don’t you get frustrated when it takes a long time to see results when it comes to SEO? It can take 6 months to a year and even in some cases many years to see results. Everyone says it takes 6 months to a year and even in some cases many years to see results. If you want good results, consult the best SEO company for good rankings.
You can get results in the short term. You may not get all the results you want right away and you may not rank high for your ideal keywords, but that doesn't mean you can't get results in 90, 60, and even potentially 30 days.
The main question is how to get results in a few months?
SEO is not just content and links
What will you do if you want to rank #1 on Google?
Most research shows that writing long-form content is necessary, as the average web page that ranks consumer email database on page 1 of Google contains 1,890 words. This is because the two most important factors that affect rankings according to the SEO industry are domain-level links and page-level links.
The most important thing is that SEO is not what it used to be. Until 2010, you could add keywords to your meta tags and description and get a good ranking within a few months.
As you know, you could get results by doing the same old thing, but you also had to create some links. That worked very well between 2010 and 2013.
With the demand for more business, everyone started focusing on content marketing. That was the trend. From 2013 to 2018, if you created tons of text-based content, got some social media shares, and earned some natural backlinks, you could dominate Google.
Moreover, there are billions of blogs available on Google, Tumbler, and Medium. Now, it is entirely up to Google and its choice how to determine which sites to rank on top.
In other words, just because you write long content or build backlinks doesn't mean you're going to rank well. Millions of other sites do it too. Even if you started early and your site is 10 years old, it's not that easy to dominate the web anymore.
Let's look at some strategies to rank first in Google. These are:
1. Don't mention dates in your URL
Don't mention the date in the URL. I used to include dates in my URL because it was a default option for WordPress. I didn't think twice about it, but the moment I removed dates from my posts, my search traffic increased by 58%. If you do this, you'll soon see a boost in traffic.
2. Make sure you use 301 redirects, not 302
301 errors indicate that your content has moved permanently and all the SEO juice and rankings need to be redistributed to the new page.
3. Find and use relevant keywords
Keywords no longer have the same level of importance as they did a few years ago. That being said, keyword research is still a good way to find popular and relevant topics to include on your site. For step-by-step instructions on this, check out my content marketing guide.
4. Mobile optimization
Google’s mobile-friendly tool can help with this. If your site is not mobile-friendly, you will need to switch to a responsive design, mobile app, or dedicated mobile site. If you are using WordPress, you can install the WPTouch plugin to automatically switch to a mobile theme for your mobile visitors. The Top SEO Companies in India are working on this and getting good rankings day by day.
Think about what users want to do on your site once they enter it. They should be able to perform those basic tasks seamlessly and without difficulty, even while multitasking.
What are the top three to five goals your site visitors want? Make sure they can be achieved on your mobile site effortlessly.
Did you know that Google will use page speed as a ranking factor in mobile searches starting in July?
Loading time is an important factor on mobile devices, particularly since most connections on mobile devices tend to be slower
