How to create a LinkedIn marketing strategy?

Post by shammi88 »

LinkedIn has over 380 million members worldwide and is the most relevant social network for B2B businesses. However, many IT companies are still unaware of its potential and therefore do not benefit from all that LinkedIn has to offer!

This social network can be a great ally when outlining an Inbound Marketing strategy , especially if you know how to use all the resources the platform offers.

Get to know LinkedIn
If you’re not familiar with the platform, you should know that it is the third most popular social network among Internet users. It follows Facebook and Twitter. It focuses on the professional segment and allows users to connect with other people and share content with them. Like Facebook, it allows you to create personal profiles, but also company pages, making it an excellent marketing tool.

5 tips for using LinkedIn in an Inbound Marketing strategy
1. Optimize your LinkedIn company page
It's no secret that your company needs to be online. And part of your digital strategy should include a presence on LinkedIn, as this is a social network that usa business email lists is growing rapidly! Keep in mind that your company page must have all the fields correctly filled out (name, description, groups you belong to, type of company, size, website, sector, year of foundation and contact details for the locations where you are present), a cover photo (646 x 220px) and a good-quality profile image!

2. Create demo pages
One of LinkedIn’s most interesting features is the ability to create Showcase Pages. These are pages that branch off from the home page, functioning as extensions that promote specific, segmented solutions (you can create up to 10). These pages promote a more personalized experience and can be followed without necessarily following the main page.

3. Refresh the page
There’s no point in creating a LinkedIn page and then leaving it idle. Post regular updates so that your page’s followers are aware of your company’s initiatives and activities and have access to information relevant to your business. Did you recently hold an event? Publish an interesting article? Do you have a new eBook to offer? Have you created a step-by-step video about one of your company’s solutions? Share it! You can share each piece of content with all your page’s followers or define a targeted audience.
