In January of this year, ChatGPT became available to the public for the first time. This opened up possibilities that were previously unavailable to the public. Artificial intelligence is capable of generating completely new content, for example, articles that were previously created by humans. This suggests that the labor market demand for certain professionals may decrease and that many industries may undergo major changes that are difficult to predict at the moment.
Improving energy efficiency
Modern digital technologies are often associated with positive effects on the environment. The increasing use of electronic information transmission makes it possible to reduce the use of paper, among other things, in many companies, offices and households.
The constantly increasing demand for innovative technologies and services should be a signal for ICT companies to improve their energy efficiency and move towards climate neutrality. Change can be fought for by increasing the use of renewable energy sources. Unfortunately, Poland still lags behind other EU Member States in this regard.
